The core of our workforce is a group of over 160 Loggers who are both experienced and highly talented at what they do.  Over 85 percent of our loggers are degreed geologists, many of whom have their masters in geology or a second bachelors in areas such as petroleum engineering, chemistry or physics.  Since 2010 Horizon has been one of the largest employers of geology graduates in the country.  Our Horizon Geology Development Program is the talk of the industry and has rapidly made Horizon one of the most talked-about energy service companies in the country. 

Having skilled professional geologists in the field dramatically improves the ability of the exploration geologist in the office to perform his or her job.  The sophistication level of communication between the office geologist and Horizon is much higher than with other firms.  Not only do our Loggers know geology, they are also trained extensively in communication and quality assurance to ensure they consistently produce exactly the information needed by office geolgists.
